One buyer found that the unit was "better looking than the picture" and holds more than one would expect. Another found it was quick and simple to assemble and that an electric screwdriver will help speed the process up considerably. This user however found that the upper shelves only hold 30 lbs and ended up using the lowest shelf for his heaviest books, reserving the upper ones for lighter stuff. Yet another user was afraid to order because he expected the item to be of 'cheap quality' because of the price but was very satisfied in the end by both the looks and sturdiness.
